Celebrating Our Apprentices At The 2024 Awards Event

We had great pleasure in awarding Yan Wang Apprentice of the year 2024. Yan showed dedication and commitment to achieving her Apprenticeship and continuing her personal development. Having achieved level 3 management including math's and English  , Yan was promoted at work. She then decided to continue her learning by undertaking a level 5 management  which she achieved with Distinction. As well as  completing her own learning , Yan is a great ambassador  for Apprenticeships, encouraging others to benefit from the training  and has given time to  supporting those in her team through their own apprenticeships 

Andy Dugdale was a very deserving winner of the Most Improved Apprentice. Andy freely admits that he started his learning journey with some reluctance! Andy's school experience meant that he did not leave with the qualifications he could have. With us, Andy first achieved Math's and English and a level 2 warehousing Apprenticeship . As a result his confidence grew and he received a promotion at work to supervisor . Andy decided to continue his personal development and came back to us to start on a level 3 management. This meant retaking math's and English at a higher level as well working on a new standard. He has risen to the challenge and we soon expect that he will be completing his next EPA. Andy is incredibly positive about his learning experience and he is  supportive of others , especially encouraging those like himself who are initially lacking confidence or are a little unsure about returning to learning . 

Riverford Organics were proud to come and celebrate with their 3 nominees. Monika Nyklewicz  received an award for Most Improved Apprentice nominee for her outstanding work and achievements, Becky Reed was awarded Apprentice Of The Year nominee having started on level 3 management , progressing to level 5 and  achieving a pass  and also being very supportive of her co-workers who are also doing apprenticeships.  Alison Muscutt was awarded our Starfish safeguarding award in recognition of all that she does to support  her co-workers and ensure their wellbeing . Congratulations to all of you   

Dextra management team Joined their nominees at the awards to recognise their staffs achievements . As previously mentioned Andy Dugdale was awarded Most Improved Apprentice but they were also proud to have Dan Faulkner awarded Apprentice of the year nominee. Dan achieved his apprenticeship with Distinction also , during the learning phase,  he took the initiative to set up a group with other apprentices where they could meet up and work together each week offering much appreciated and valuable peer support .

We are delighted to present Radio Bath with a special award for the work they have done in promoting Apprenticeships . The award was presented by Wera Hobhouse , MP for Bath who spoke about the benefits which Apprentices bring to businesses, and how Radio Bath were helping to get that message out there encouraging more  businesses to get involved  .  Her sentiments were shared by Sharron Davies who revealed that her own children had achieved great things via apprenticeships . We are grateful to Radio Bath for their support and for giving us a platform to talk to the local community about the fantastic option which Apprenticeships provide
